Does anyone know where I can try and find window blinds that blackout the room? I need the darkest ones because of my extreme light sensitivity.

I tried Lowes, but they had white ones that would let in way too much light. I found out that Target doesn't carry Window blinds. I wouldn't mind having curtains, but my mother said that they are a pain to put up and collect dust. I'm on a fixed income so I have to be really careful on what I spend.

You might want to try Walmart or Kmart or Home Depot or even Big Lots because any of those stores have a huge selection of window blinds for real cheap. But I advise you to try Big Lots first because that's where my mom bought window blinds that were wonderful for our kitchen when we first moved to our house and Mom liked our window blinds. Another place you can try is a store called 3 Day Blinds and they can help you select the type of window blinds you need and be sure to check your Tuesday ads in your mail for ads for 3 Day Blinds for special sales on window blinds and you may get a wonderful deal on your window blinds

Thanks for the ideas. :) I've never heard of 3 Day Blinds. Kmart closed down several years ago. I might check with the stores you mentioned.
