When you first watched them, you quickly changed your mind.

Here's my list:

Columbo: I love a good old-fashioned crime mystery from the 70s/80s but I just can't get into Columbo. I find him annoying and his voice shrieks.

Hill Street Blues: I had high hopes for this show when I seen it would be airing on H&I. I tuned in one night and it was hard for me to make it all the way through the episode. I found it very boring.

Devious Maids: I was/am a huge fan of Desperate Housewives so I was expecting "DM" to be just as good, if not better...I was wrong. I just don't like many of the actresses.

Father Knows Best: I wanted so bad to like this show. I bought season 1 years ago and finally got around to watching a few episodes. I find it terribly slow, draggy, and overacted. I may watch more just to see if it gets better as the series goes on.

McHale's Navy: I absolutely love Tim Conway, mostly because of this work on The Carol Burnett Show. This show is borrrring. Nothing I'd expect to see Tim in.

Welcome Back, Kotter: I've always heard great things about this series so when Shout! Factory released the complete series set I bought it without having seen a single episode. Oh boy, I will never do that again... How stupid can one show be? I'm not a fan of Travolta but I thought this series would've been different since it's some of his early work but it's still stupid.

Webster: Simply, a Diff'rent Strokes ripoff and it's too cutesy.

My list is the newer shows and is much more than I listed. We don't watch any sitcoms except older ones because we simply can't stand the ones on today and sitcoms have always been my favorite. I think we all need the laughter.

The Crazy Ones, I loved Robin Williams and wanted to like this show but not even Robin's talent could save this one.

The Michael J. Fox Show, Again, I wanted to like this show because I really like Michael J. Fox but it just wasn't a good show.

Grandfathered, we thought it was horrible.

The Goldbergs, we tried it a few times and it was just stupid.

Mike and Molly, we liked this show till they had her leave her class of children by jumping out a window and going nuts.

The Odd Couple, loved the classic one, hated this one.

Shades of Blue, disgusting

Angel From Hell, horrible

Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, I wish they would stop with the spin offs!

Per McHale's Navy, I had purchased the second and third seasons (1963-65) from the Books-A-Million in Greenville a time back, and it was all I could do to get through the second one. Each episode just dragged on and on and on. I didn't even make a dent in the third one.

And per Welcome Back, Kotter, you're not the only one who has purchased a lot release of a particular series sight unseen and has found it stupid. I got Mill Creek's lot release of Starsky & Hutch (1975-79 ABC police series w/David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser), and I don't know whether it was how that series was then, or how Mill Creek made the release, but I could hardly make a dent in it either.

The New Odd Couple is so labored, Matthew Perry is so miscast in the part, it is uncomfortable to watch him trying to get through a scene. I like the other cast members though. Don't get me wrong I was a Chandler Bing fan but MP seems very "off" on this show. His voice is too high to play gruff but genial sportscaster Oscar Madison. There are so many other actors who would be better in the role.

Arrested Development-I like most of the people involved with the show but just don't find it funny.

Community looked liked it would be a great show, like a P.T. Anderson film for television. Nope. Worse show ever.

The Napoleon Dynomite cartoon. Thought this would be great. Nope.

The new Odd Couple sucks because of Matthew Perry, he is miscast. Thomas Lennon is awesome, and wish he were in more stuff.

OH Nuts!

Well mine's a tad bit different. One old nostalgic show I was dying to see again, for years and years, The Patty Duke Show, finally rolled out seven years ago. I thought I'd be in Seventh Heaven. While I did enjoy seeing it, I wasn't anywheres near as enraptured as I thought I'd be.

Downton Abbey - tried to watch an episode one night and nothing was really happening.

The Walking Dead - I'm not a zombie genre fan but decided to give it a try. Didn't make it past the premiere. Zombies are overdone, we need something new in horror.

I have a couple:

Mork And Mindy - I seriously thought I was going to enjoy this show. I watched a few episodes and realized that I don't like the show.

McHales Navy - I never thought about watching this show but I came across it on Antenna TV. Watched an episode and found it to be dull and slightly irritating. I also don't care for Ernest Borgnine.

Perry Mason - Considering how I like Matlock and Perry Mason is like Matlock, I gave the show a chance. I got the first season and put in an episode. I could not make it through the whole episode without getting bored or distracted.

Chips- I don't know why I dislike this show but I do.

Diagnosis: Murder: I thought I'd like this show since Dick Van Dyke was in it and I love The Dick Van Dyke Show, but I was proven wrong. Only seeing snippets of it on MeTV, I loved it. However, when I bought the complete series set, I knew I didn't like it. The only character I even remotely like is Jesse and Amanda, but even they couldn't save a dying show that was dying from the start. I liked it at first, but now I just dislike it.

I'm a big of Dick Van Dyke but I also really hated Diagnosis: Murder.

I agree with all of these. However, I do somewhat like "Mork & Mindy"...I enjoy it in small doses but there's no way I could binge watch it.

^I also like "M&M" but only in small doses as well. I've never seen "Perry Mason". "McHale's Navy" is just outright boring and dull. As for "CHiPs", I liked it the first time around but now I can only watch in small doses.

Some shows I can only watch in small doses are Mork & Mindy, The Love Boat, I Dream of Jeannie, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Dennis the Menace and The Andy Griffith Show.

I saw it was on Decades and thought I'd give it a try. I tried my best to sit through the show but I could not. Funny , because I usually like variety shows but I didn't understand this one

T.J. Hooker- When MeTV brought it on, I thought I'd like it. Wrong! This show is so cheesy, horribly acted and horrible. Makes me hate William Shatner.

Hawaii Five-0 (original)- A lot of people will argue, it's a beloved show, so I get that. But I cannot stand for the extreme police brutality used by McGarrett and Danno used in every single episode. The villains are written and acted well, the only issue is the all-too-contrived elements of the episode. I thought I'd like it when it came to MeTV, but it turns out I hate this show. Oh well.

MacGyver original- I also thought I'd enjoy this show when it came to MeTV. It's so slow and draggy and I don't like him at all.

I don't care for HFO, TJ, or MacG. They bore me.

I obviously don't watch much current TV but last fall they had a series on Einstein entitled "Genius" on the National Geographic Channel which I was really looking forward to. I hated it. It was a dumbed down soap opera that jumped back and forth between Einstein young and old and featured virtually nothing about science. After a few episodes I couldn't take it anymore and gave up.

Yeah, same. They are quite tedious.
