Any news about future Blu-ray releases?

There is no set release date for season 3 just yet

I wish some news about this would come along. I really want ILL complete on Blu-ray!

I haven't been too pleased with their blu ray releases. The picture quality doesn't even come close to that of The Dick Van Dyke Show. I only bought the first season of I Love Lucy and so far have passed on season 2. I might get it when it drops under 30 dollars.

When you compare Dick Van Dyke Show vs I Love Lucy on Blu ray there is no comparison. The ILL release was dismal IMO. They didn't look any different than the regular releases. I can't believe how great Dick Van Dyke Show is on Blu Ray. The picture quality is so crisp and clean while ILL has so much debris and specs.

Oh! I was just reminded of these releases and kind of assumed that they all would be released by now. So, after a couple of years of waiting, I decided to check and I'm dismayed! One reason I loved the Blu-Rays was because the DVDs used older closed-captioning technology (black background with white text) and not (player-activated) subtitles in English. Thus, you have to use an older TV/Player connection versus the now standard HDMI to view the captioning. I am hard-of-hearing and the blu-ray releases had the subtitles (as Blu-Ray players use the newer technology naturally). This is extremely frustrating to read. They need to release all seasons together onto Blu-Ray!
