I do this with the majority of sitcoms I watch. I can watch sitcoms and not laugh at them but I can still enjoy the show at the same time.

Does a sitcom have to be funny for me to like it? Not always. Of course it's better if it is funny.There are a number of classic sitcoms I have liked that I never found that funny. However thay have a lot of other things going for them such as likeable casts and the characters they play,pleasant atmospheres,amusing or interesting story lines and so on.

Same here. I never found Hazel that funny but it's a nice quiet family drama that I enjoy at night before bed.
