... a copy of the Green Acres special Nick at Nite aired around 1989/90? This was a retrospective hosted by Mark Summers. I've never seen it and as far as I know it isn't even on YouTube. I'd sure love to see it.
That period was a good time to be a GA fan. Nearly all the cast members were still around. Nick was heavily promoting the series and it was my first exposure to the show; seeing those nighttime reruns made me a lifelong fan. At the time of the aforementioned special, the full-blown reunion movie was looming, and I wouldn't be surprised if the popularity of the show on Nick is what led to the movie being greenlit at CBS. (Side note: I reviewed the movie in this forum, "In Defense of Return to Green Acres")
Anyway, if someone could dig up that special it would be nice to see. Some press from that era is hard to find. I did manage to locate (on YouTube) an interview with Eva discussing the reunion movie on the Joan Rivers show, as well as an audio clip of Eddie promoting it on the old Tom Snyder radio show.

Same goes for me, I've been searching for this special ever since I found out it existed. I still hope someday I'll find the interview in its entirety on Youtube.
But I have found what appears to be a still image from that special:

I can only imagine how much fun it must have been to watch that night. Seeing the people behind Hank Kimball, Oliver, Lisa, and Mr. Haney being themselves and reminiscing about Green Acres.

The reunion movie was already in the works when GA came to Nick @ Nite--and this special is the first place I heard about it. Sid Melton was also on it. The actors were brought one at a time, and the shot above is apparently from before his entrance. I can't remember if Tom Lester was also featured, I don't think he was. Frank Cady definitely was not.

Yeah you're right. I found another picture from that same night:

I taped that Reunion special way back when when it was on Nick@Nite. A few years back I transferred it to DVD. Though I haven't got clue how to put it on Utube. It's a 1/2 hour special, it's not movie length. I remember when seeing it how much I thought that it looked like Sid was wearing a Sid Melton mask, it just didn't look natural.

I remember that special and no Frank Cady, Mary Grace Canfield and Tom Lester weren't on it.

Anyone know why in the heck Frank Cady wasn't there?! This irks me. Everybody loves Frank.
