I just stopped the tape. TV Guy 11-27-2001, 12:03 AM I have a question for fans. They showed a clip from a "Mama's Family" skit produced after Harvey Korman left the show and while Dick Van Dyke was on. Dick was in the skit. Was he supposed to be playing Eunice's husband Ed, which Harvey used to play? They didn't show the whole skit, so I couldn't figure this out. Pavan 11-27-2001, 03:44 PM Carol Burnett a hit in the ratings: At 10 p.m., an hour ABC usually takes, the CBS special "The Carol Burnett Show: Show Stoppers" took a whopping 18.8/30 for the hour. SitcomFan 11-27-2001, 04:08 PM I know i read that. it got a gooood rating No offense to the Nsync fans if there are any but Nsync got a 4.3 hahahahaha.Carol Burnett got 18.8 CAROL BURNETT FAN ClassicComedyFan2 11-27-2001, 06:26 PM Watched it and liked it! As for Dick van Dyke in the show, he joined in 1977 when Harvey Korman left for reasons unknown. Dick joined because of the need of a strong male lead. He was with the cast 2 years until the show ended in 1979. Her last reunion/clip show also did really well in the ratings, and that was ten years ago! SitcomFan 11-27-2001, 11:25 PM i know TVGuy the 10 year ago reunion got about the same rating i read. #1 Carol Burnett Fan Penny Lane 11-28-2001, 03:31 PM Now if they would do a Mama's Family reunion show! By the way, didn't Vicki look great?! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ Cupcake TV Guy 11-28-2001, 07:38 PM Originally posted by NEWHART FAN: Now if they would do a Mama's Family reunion show! She was always cute, and cute tends to age well. She's also a little younger than the rest of the cast (I believe she's 52). Penny Lane 11-28-2001, 07:50 PM Yes, she is pretty cute! I am a year younger than she is and my husband thinks I'm still pretty cute! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/eyes.gif No brag, just fact! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/grineyes.gifOh my! I can't believe that Vicki and I are that old! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/eek.gif ------------------ Cupcake |
