Is anyone else having time-gapped problems with the CC in seasons 2/3/4, and if so: can something be done about it?

I don't know about WBK, but I noticed on 5 and 6 of Facts of Life, which is also from Shout, the captions were displayed a few seconds before the dialogue was spoken.
