Here's how this goes;

Isn't it a shame that:

1. Cheers- Sam and Diane never ended up with each other.
We never got to see Vera's face.

2. Jefferson's- There never was a series finale.

3. The Family Guy- Wasted away on Thursday nights!

4. Rhoda- Lost all of her appeal by dropping weight and becoming sexy.

5. Laverne and Shirley- Should have ended the show when Shirley left.

If I had creative control over shows I love...

The Simpsons- Stayed like it was the first 8 seasons.

Wings- Antonio and Casey would have gotten together. Lowell never would have left.

ER- Where do I begin? Doug, Carol, Benton, Mallucci, and Greene wouldn't have left. Lucy, Abby, Weaver, and Chen never would have joined. It wouldn't have gone from a hard-hitting medical drama to a melodramatic soap.

Everybody Loves Raymond- Ray and Debra move far away.

Cheers- Sam and Rebecca get married and have a kid.

NewsRadio- Phil Hartman wouldn't have died. (OK, I don't have control over that.)

Taxi- Would have gone on another season.

* I think Seinfeld retired too early.
* Sam and Diane should have gotten married on Cheers.
* Sally Rogers should've found a husband on The Dick Van Dyke Show. I also think that show should've gone another season or two.
* I wish Gideon's Crossing wasn't canceled.
* Three's Company wouldn't have had that God awful finale.
* All in the Family should have called it quits after Mike and Gloria left.
* Cheers should have made a huge deal out of Coach's death.

Why didn't in the series finale of the Brady Bunch, Alice go crazy and chase all the kids with a chain saw, then the Mike and Sam the Butcher run off and live together, and have their own spinoff??!! I mean, I was sooooooo looking forward to that! I luv the Brady Bunch, and that would've been the perfect ending. :D http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/images/thebradybunchmessageboard.jpg

I don't know, TC. The cast of "The Brady Bunch" seemed to avoid violence altogether. To me violence and television don't mix.

"The Wonder Years" - ABC should have renewed the show for ten (yes, 10!!!) more seasons in 1993 instead of unceremoniously cancelling it; this event was hidden in all of the headlines of the ever-so-OVERRATED finale of "Cheers". To top it all, ABC didn't even bother to wait until sweeps week to air it!!!

An episode where the Arnolds meet the Bradys would have been good.

Cheers: I wish Sam and Diane would have gotten married.
Seinfeld: I wish Jerry and Elane would have gotten married.

First of all, the TC series finale would've had 4 parts. The first two would go as they did. Then the next week they show Janet and Phil the Pill in their new house and Phil abusing Janet and they divorce. Then they show Vicki and Jack's house with Jack and James in a fistfight.Vicki take's James' side and they breakup. Then the next episode Chrissy,Cindy,Lana,The Ropers,Jim the Bartender,Dean Travers,Angelino and Felipe all return for Jack and Janet's wedding. The tag shows them settling into the old apartment.Janet and Jack are now married and Chrissy,Cindy and Terri all live next door. That'd make me happy pappy!I might start a fanfic series based on it!

Laverne & Shirley:Walter The Mummy and Carmine's latest flame
run off together leaving Shirley and Carmine to relight their love,
and they get married at a double ceremony with Lenny and Laverne, but Squiggy looses the ring at the pony ride at a carnival
and they all have to go look for it..to be continued of course!:)

Three's Company:Just before the wedding Vickie and Phil discover
that Janet and Jack really do love each other so they sneak off and Janet and Jack wind up marrying.Of course instead of just
Terri Janet's bride's maids include BOTH Cindy and Chrissy and
just as the wedding service is finished Cindy trips and knocks
everything over...

Cheers:Sam and Diane get married in the bar like in the episode
where they were when Diane left to work on her novel.Norm buys
the bar,and of course the producers of DS9 give Norm a bunch of
moola for using his name backwards!!!!!:)

Boy Meets World:They would've spun off Cory and Topanga in
New York City.

Rhoda and Joe should have never divorced!I think they should have had her get pregnant. She would have been a great pregnant woman! The way she obsessed about her appearance and weight .That could have really been funny. The show stunk once it lost Joe.

I disagree. I think Rhoda was best as a neurotic bachelorette. To many fans, Joe was just not that likeable. The show could've ended with her marrying someone and then getting pregnant, but to somebody more camera friendly.

I guess what I meant was that the show stunk after her marriage broke up. The whole premise changed. I wasn't that crazy about Joe either!

Diff'rent Strokes - The show should have ended with the wedding. They didn't need to rehash the same story lines with Sam.

They did get married and had a son together

Didn't they?

I always thought they did or am I  ?

OK, here's what I think should have happened on "The Wonder Years" besides the Arnolds meeting the Bradys:

1. There should have been a follow-up episode to Winnie's car accident (Episode #66, "The Accident") instead of letting it end with K&W exchanging "I love you"s. Some plotlines include:

a. Winnie's return to school (Lincoln Junior High, not Kennedy) and her dealing with the attention, telling off the people who took her for that fateful ride and centering her life around Kevin, anxiously awaiting high school

b. Kevin going over to Winnie's somewhere in between the "I love you"s and Winnie's return in (a)

2. We would have been able to see Kevin and his friends graduate had the series been renewed for one more season. Heck, we SHOULD have been able to see Kevin and his friends graduate! That would have been a good series finale, even if the series had not lasted ten more seasons. The finale ABC ever so hastily produced stunk IMHO.

I'm pretty sure they did marry eachother, however, as far as having a child, I'm not sure?!?

Actually, braindamage, Angela and Tony did NOT get married. It was another wedding in which they were part of the wedding party.

Actually, there was a little boy that appeared for a season or so. I can't remember what his name was, but he lived with them for awhile. I think he was brought in for the "cute-child" quotient -- see Cousin Oliver, Olivia (The Cosby Show) and Andy (The Facts of Life)

I Dream of Jeannie
06-05-2002, 08:56 AM
I Dream of Jeannie's last epiosde which even though it didn't air last was supposed to be "Hurricane Jeannie" and Tony dreams that Dr.Bellows finds out about Jeannie . I would have given the show 2,000 more seasons, o.k. I couldn't do that but at least one more. The season would center around Jeannie having a baby.
And the season finale would have been a two parter that sparked a movie which came on the next year. Mabye I should write a fanfic. Anyway in the finale Jeannie and Tony would've met Sam and Darrin and Bewitched would've ended with this episode too but of course you'd watch theirs from Sam and Darrin's point of view and the I Dream of Jeannie would've done Tony and Jeannie's point of view. O.k. I've got to write a fanfic!:D

Saved By The Bell:

They shouldn't have dropped the Zack & Lisa relationship after that ONE episode. That didn't make sense. At least show us their relationship in full and a possible break-up. The episode ended in them walking off holding hands and we never heard from them again.....

Facts of Life:

They should have had an episode where Jo came out of the closet.

How about the Bunkers see the Jeffersons on the Jeffersons?

Agree about Zack and Lisa.

Alice and the gang from Mel's diner visit Hazzard County after Enos and Boss Hogg visited them. Andy and Helen should have gotten married on the series finalie of The Andy Griffith Show instead of the first episode of Mayberry RFD. The last episode of Mister Ed, Mister Ed finally agrees to talk to everyone, and they don't think Wilbur is a kook anymore.

Family Ties:

Alex remains with Ellen (he did marry her in real life, after all) and Mallory goes steady with Skippy instead of that awful Nick.

Beverly Hillbillies/Green Acres/Petticoat Junction

How they should have ended:

Homer Bedloe puts the Cannonball and the Shady Rest up for sale and offers a price that he believes nobody could afford, until at the last minute, the entire property is bought by the Clampetts, who end up moving and living permanently in Hooterville.

Laverne & Shirley

After moving to Hollywood, the girls help Lenny & Squiggy start their own talent agency with Carmine being their first client and Rhonda as their dumb blonde secretary. The show ends and the boys get their own spin-off series.

ALL IN THE FAMILY-that it had ended when Mike & Gloria moved to California

MASH-that it had stayed the way it was the first 3 seasons instead of making a HUGE mistake by letting Alan Alda take over the typewriter and the directors chair and making it "THE ALAN ALDA SHOW" and it becoming "oh we're doctors and we're nurses and we're so good cause we save lives...and war is hell...and death is such a bummer..." etc.

HAPPY DAYS-that it had stayed the way Garry Marshall had waned-a nice, gentle sitcom about a "nuclear family" growing up in the 50s instead of becoming "the Fonzie show" and never added that loud, screaming, annoying live audience and had stayed in the 50s instead of the 70s/eary80s with a small bit of the 50s mixed in.

LAVERNE & SHIRLEY-that the California episodes-and the entire last season-never happened.

WELCOME BACK KOTTER-that the entire last season never happened or that ABC did with it what Gabe Kaplan suggested for the last season.

FRIENDS-that Ross and Rachel didn't keep breaking up and getting back together. It was funny the first 3 or 4 times but then they kept doing it.

I agree about it becoming "The Fonzie Show." I dont mind the studio audience because some of the funniest episodes were in front of a studio audience. I do agree, though, that I do sometimes miss that quaint feel, I guess you could call it, that the first 2 seasons had.
