I don't have a Blu-ray recorder, I have an older DVD Recorder and use it all the time to record movies and TV shows like people did with the old VCR's.

I can record anything on TV. Mine is an older MAGNAVOX DVD Recorder with Digital Tuner.

As stated above I have an older one that is not Blu-ray recorder. I can't record in HD but the quality is very good in my opinion.

I just have a DVD/VHS combo unit.
