it looks OK not their best one but pretty good. I'm glad that they'll be showing THE TIME TUNNEL and MAVERICK though I wish they'd put them in prime-time. Oh well that's what DVRs are for. I also wish they'd move GOMER PYLE to either the afternoons or prime-time. And I'm a little disappointed that they're keeping MASH, since those reruns seem to have been on forever!!

I wish the Little Rascals was on at a better time not early Saturday morning when I'm still sleeping. Saturday schedule is horrible for the most part. They need to change primetime up and get rid of those westerns in the afternoon.

Interesting changes. Surprised Superman is gone as well. Sledge Hammer is kind of a weird add.

I am disappointed that ME-TV is getting rid of The Show Show and CHiPs.

Why did they go back to showing 2 Emergency episodes in a row? Makes no sense.Good show but when it comes to hour long programs 1 episode of each a day is enough. Also I guess there must be some kind of law that they have to keep showing Gunsmoke and Bonanza.I like the occasional western, but they really overdo it.I like some of the changes they made but overall I think they could be more creative and have even more variety.

What? I never mentioned anything like that. MeTV is one of the best channels on TV,and they show and have shown a lot of great classic programs.I was mainly just pointing out there are a few shows they really over play. That cuts into the variety on their line-up.

Schedule looks good except for two things:

1. The new shows are mainly drama's or westerns. More sitcoms would be nice

2. Of all the shows to use for e/I programming they just have to choose Bill Nye The Science Guy

And if I may add something here, I think there are too many westerns on Metv's schedule. Let's see.... you have Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Rifleman, Wagon Train, Rawhide, Wanted: Dead Or Alive, Maverick , Have Gun, Will Travel, The Wild Wild West. That, in my opinion, is just say too many westerns. I love westerns but that's taking it over the top

That's a pretty sweet lineup. When's the last time Our Miss Brooks was on TV? And Sledge Hammer? Wow! Pairing it with Get Smart is, of course, the only way to do it. Glad the Sunday night comedy block is still there, and still looking good.

My state lost ME-TV in the fall of 2015. A lineup like this underscores why I want the station back.

It shouldn't bother you if you don't have ME-TV anymore

If you still had ME-TV they gave Gunsmoke and Bonanza a rest ME-TV replaced the color gunsmoke episodes with the black and white gunsmoke episodes last year and replaced the 240 bonanza episodes with the lost episodes of bonanza

It was the color gunsmoke episodes that were overplayed so was the 240 bonanza episodes. Now they are gone and I prefer the black and white gunsmoke episodes over the color ones. and the lost bonanza episodes over the 240 bonanza episodes.

ENCORE WESTENS (which is now STARZ/ENCORE WESTERNS was showing the black-and-white GUNSMOKE episodes for years before ME TV started showing them, and they were also showing the "lost" episodes of BONANZA before ME TV started showing them.
For those who don't know, they're called "lost" because they weren't included in the syndication package of BONANZA went it was cancelled.

For the last few days MeTV (at least my affiliate) has gone from broadcasting shows in 4x3 (or 1:33.1) to a strange ratio with very skinny side bars. Prior, everything was 4x3 except promos, commercials and CHiPS...which are 16:9.

This makes no sense because I can't set my TV to view them 16x9 (it goes beyond 16x9) or 4x3. So I'm stuck with this oddball ratio and fat looking people.

Not necessarily. My affiliate has been airing the widescreen feed for a few months and really the only thing that's in true 16:9 widescreen are network promos and some local commercials. The shows are still in 4:3, except for Wonder Woman, CHiPs, and I think Mama's Family, which are remastered widescreen prints and therefore have nothing cut off.

The old B&W episode & 11-12 of My Three sons not avaiable for syndication only the season 6-10 only available for syndication.

Eight is enough been requested alot on metv and antennaTV facebook but i think some kind of cost issue and shows like Dallas and Knot landing doesn't do well plus be Higher cost since those was a Prime soaps and I don't know about the Season 6-8 of Donna Reed

The B&W Gunsmoke episodes aren't available in syndication either, but MeTV has aired those. Same for the B&W Petticoat Junction episodes.

Seasons 6-8 of The Donna Reed Show are owned by Sony. The earlier seasons used to be, but the rights reverted to Donna Reed's estate.

It's beyond me why they would do that, mainly because MeTV doesn't even broadcast in 16:9 widescreen format (at least in my city).

I've seen maybe three occasions where they've tried this before, and it's not a pretty sight. On a widescreen TV, you always have the black bars on the left and right for 4:3 fullscreen channels, but when that channel tries to pull off a widescreen picture of its own, you get an additional pair of black bars on top and bottom, not to mention the image is distorted! All this for shows that would be better left in their original fullscreen.
