"St. Elsewhere" Actress Sagan Lewis Dead at 63

Actress Sagan Lewis, best known for playing the sweet surgical resident Dr. Jacqueline Wade on the '80s NBC medical drama "St. Elsewhere", died Sunday after a six-year struggle with cancer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She was 63.
Lewis was a regular on "St. Elsewhere" for all six seasons, which ran from 1982 to 1988. She also appeared on "Homicide: Life on the Street" and one of the last episodes of "M*A*S*H".
She was twice married to Tom Fontana, who wrote and produced for "St. Elsewhere" and "Homicide". They were first married in 1988.
