This is probably going to sound very morbid, but you know what? Nobody's been paying much attention to anything I post lately, so I'll just go for it.

Have you paid your respects to the graves of any celebrities or famous people?

It's not like I've set out to take a tour, but I seem to have run across a few famous people's resting places in my time:

Grace Kelly (AKA Princess Grace of Monaco) - Monacoville, Monaco
James Dean - Fairmount, Indiana
Laurence Olivier/Mary Queen of Scots/Elizabeth I (and many other monarchs) - Westminster Abbey, London, UK
Queen Anne Boleyn/Lady Jane Grey/Queen Katharine Howard/Sir Thomas Moore/Edward V - Tower of London, London, UK
William Shakespeare - Stratford Upon Avon, UK
Henry VIII/Queen Jane Seymour/Edward VIII/Wallis Simpson (and many other monarchs)Windsor Castle, UK
Susan B. Anthony/Frederick Douglas - Rochester, NY
Washington Irving - Sleepy Hollow, NY
Oscar Wilde/Edith Piaf/Jim Morrison - Paris, France
George Washington - Mount Vernon, VA

Not a whole lot in person just at Boot Hill In Tombstone and in Willcox AZ we stopped by Warren Earp's and Rex Allen's memorial. I have been to the site, Find A Grave and paid my respects online to many.

I've been to Westminster Abbey too. And yeah, I still remember seeing the name Laurence Olivier.

One part of me would like to visit Michael Jackson's grave. But on the other hand, I wonder if that wouldn't be too much for me to handle. :(

Oscar Wilde/Edith Piaf/Jim Morrison - Paris, France

I've been to both of these places and saw these graves. The Père Lachaise Cemetery is truly a remarkable place to visit.

I've been to Westminster Abbey too. And yeah, I still remember seeing the name Laurence Olivier.

He was the last person to be buried in Westminster Abbey. When he passed in the '80s the Queen thought it appropriate that he be buried with the kings, queens, scholars, and fellow artists.

Oh, and I may have inadvertently been to the grave of Richard III before they discovered it. I've been to that parking lot that he was under. You know, the guy was killed in battle, they paraded his naked body through the streets - did they really have to park their chevys over him? That's just mean!

I've been to the graves of John F. Kennedy in Arlington National Cemetery, and actually seen the grave of Marilyn Monroe.
