Discovered by atalent scout, Fonzie is offered a a trip to Hollywood for a screen test. Fonzie agrees provided he can take along Potsie, Ralph and the Cunninghams. A problem arises when Richie, while running lines with Fonzie, catches the attention of the producer. Meanwhile Fonzie gets into a tug of war over a girl on the beach and is challenged to a water skiing contest over a killer shark.
