One of the things that makes 30 Rock such a great, lasting series is that even when you’ve watched every episode 100 times and counting, you can still find something new to laugh at. Just the other day I was watching and noticed, for the first time ever, that among the many framed photos in Jack Donaghy’s office, there is a lone photo on his mantle and it features the fictitious NBC executive with his good friend, Donald Trump.
Perhaps that random image, barely visible to an average viewer who isn’t looking for new jokes and gags in every scene, offers some evidence to the hilarious theory that Trump, the GOP nominee for President of the United States, simply lifted the core issues of his campaign from Jack and some of Tracy Jordan’s ridiculous rants on 30 Rock.
