View Full Version : Which UM family members have stopped by here?
Hasho 08-02-2016, 08:31 AM I know that Lisa Marie Kimmel's mother has written on this board, also the sister of Larry Dickens (killed by Edward Bell)..
Who else family members or friends of UM victims have written here?
Yusuke 08-02-2016, 10:45 AM Several of Nyleen's family, NPM12, Kena06, Kianacao.
RobinW 08-02-2016, 10:52 AM Morris Davis' brother, Cliff, posted here sometime ago. He seemed genuinely touched that people were discussing Morris' case all these years later.

Another Montana case that just *kills* me because I don't know if we'll ever get a resolution to it.
To add to the list, there were friends of Randall Utterback and Paul Pollis who showed up. Pretty sure that Paul Pollis *DID* actually appear and argue with us for a day or two.
Wendy Camp's sister Aisha posted here for quite some time as well. Also, Tammy Lynn Leppart's sister.
justins5256 08-02-2016, 07:42 PM Since Final Appeals are my favorite category...
Glen Consagra's sister and niece have posted. They indicated that Consagra continued to maintain his innocence even after he was paroled.
Michael Scott Martin's brother in law (?) posted and claimed that Mike still maintained his innocence too, and that he was doing well since his release from prison.
A poster claiming to be a long time friend of Larry Race going back years before the murder posted, and I remember he said he thought Larry was guilty.
I remember someone claiming to have some sort of connection with Stuart Heaton posted and said Stuart was the father of Krystal Nabb's unborn baby and that it was their impression he was guilty.
I guess all of these (and others) should be taken with a grain of salt since anyone can claim anything on the Internet, but the claims are interesting, nonetheless.
WishfulDreamer 08-02-2016, 09:55 PM Many of us are certain Don Dixon has posted, after writing an extremely creepy post. Not a family member, but someone close to the case.

Do you know where to find the link to that post?
ScaryFog 08-03-2016, 12:02 AM I'm pretty sure the son of Richard Anderson posted here once. He was the guy killed in a road rage incident in Fishkill, New York.
dynoguy88 08-03-2016, 12:35 AM Cindy James sister Marlene posted here after I saw her online journal and I invited her. We exchanged dozens of emails and she even friended me on Facebook.
Jeremy Bright's mother posted here after her daughter directed her to the board. Very, very sweet lady. She read the entire Jeremy Bright thread with a box of tissues because she was so touched that people were discussing her son's case when law enforcement sort of turned their backs on her many years ago. And she posted many replies.

I still enjoy reading that odd post from time to time and chuckling to myself, knowing that Dixon probably got super excited to see someone was talking about him.
Taco Bell lunches.

Good lord. I just read that for the first time. That is creepy.
But I could totally buy the murderer being Carter, if what was said was true...

That was the first time you read it?!?! LOL
Man, we talked about that for months on end back when he wrote that. Still funny to this day.

Yeah, I took a slight hiatus from the board for awhile. Just was too busy to check in regularly. I missed some GREAT stuff!
Thiussat 08-04-2016, 03:17 PM Mary Morris' "creepy" co-worker has posted here before, and did for quite a while.
soilentgreen 08-04-2016, 04:21 PM Crystal Spencer's brother posted on here, as well as one of Robert Hamrick's children. People who knew both Tara Breckenridge and Wayne Hecker (including one of his exes) were on here. One of Larry Gibson's relatives posted in defense of him.
I always wondered if the person who made strange comments about the Wackers (and usually referred to Dorothy as "Dot") was acquainted with the family.
cdr369 08-04-2016, 09:11 PM Don Kemp's sister posted on here a few years ago, as well as some of his friends.
WishfulDreamer 08-04-2016, 10:13 PM Tom Keeter's widow posted.
I believe Tammy Lynn Leppert's sister has posted, but she usually sticks to Websleuths.
cdr369 08-06-2016, 02:36 PM I also remember when a son of Judy Groezinger's former girlfriend posted. He mentioned her as having erratic behavior at times, especially when she was intoxicated. I believe I remember him saying that he felt that she was guilty (I still don't know, personally).
Dale Kerstetter's daughter that was featured on the segment posted frequently at one point. She popped in about a year ago and said they were just now settling his estate. It had been locked up in probate court for so many years.
DazzlerSparkler 08-07-2016, 09:46 PM The lady from the Moses Treves Such Is Life restaurant posted here.
Taburn27 01-28-2017, 01:19 PM I'm the daughter of James and Annette Burnside. I joined because I'm grateful for the show. I seen posts over the years on here and I know people are genuinely curious about things. My sister Stacie and I are open books. Talking about our lives is just the norm to us. If you have questions, ask away.

Was that the pretty redhead in the segment? Women looked a lot better in the mid to late eighties/early 90's.
EDIT: Nevermind, that was Dave Bocks' daughter I think.

I think Jeremy's sister S'te (Elmore) has posted on here as well.
Someone claiming to be a niece or nephew (or second cousin: I can't remember exactly) of Russell Evans just recently posted in a thread related to his case.
Keith Warren's sister has posted on here, too.
Tap Dancer 01-29-2017, 08:27 AM Jessica Keen's sister used to post here.

What was your relationship with your father like?

Welcome to the board!
I always felt so sorry for your mom (and you as well). That was a scary story to watch. I hope that time has healed a lot of the pain for you and your sister.
And please stick around. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this case and any others!

Well, he died in prison over a year ago. He would write to us over the years. I have no memory of the crazy times with him. I was only two. When I was in 10th grade my sister and I went to see him in jail. We left the door open to him if he wanted to get to know us, but as we got older he just wanted to get money out of us. We'd go years with no communication, but shortly before he died we had reached out to him again. Through our last communications, my sister and I were able to find our half brothers. So that was pretty cool.

My family definitely helped Stacie and I through the craziness.
As for my thoughts on the case, the show was pretty straight forward with how things happened. What was interesting to me though, was hearing from my dad where he was for the 4 yrs on the run.

I am surprised your father wasn't more seriously injured in the shooting in Shelby. Condolences about your mother.

Yeah. He was only hit in the hand. It was weird knowing what happened and then seeing the scar on his hand. It was like living in a strange movie.
Pretty sure one of the Freshour's (Circleville Letters) have posted here.
Jessica Keen's sister used to post here.
I was so happy that case was solved. Just an awful, awful one. No one deserves to go out like that.
