Okay, so here's my new (just thought-up about five minutes ago, lol) fanfic... it's kind of sad and it involves Teddy! enjoy!

Jinny sat at her desk that April day, thinking. Magda was picking up Ben - Gabriel was busy, and Magda filled in - C.D and Nate were on a case, and Raina was busy typing up the latest police reports. It was quiet around the station, and a little too quiet.
She knew she wanted to take the chance and call, but she wondered if it was right. Call Teddy, after avoidance, tears, and him saying they couldn't even be friends? It was something that had crossed her mind.
Crossed her mind long enough to pick up the phone and call him. Jinny quickly dialed his cell phone. Ringing five times, there was no answer. He was probably in some meeting or something, and she'd call back in ten minutes.
Fifteen minutes passed. The cell phone still had no answer, and she called him at home. The answering machine only picked up, and Jinny hung up, only for the phone to ring.
"Hello?" she asked, hoping it was Teddy.
"Jinny?" a female voice asked.
"Yeah," Jinny answered.
"This is Mrs. Blumenthal."
"Oh, hi, Mrs. Blumenthal. I've been trying to reach Teddy..."
Mrs. Blumenthal interrupted sadly. "I'm calling to say that Teddy's in the hospital. He got in an accident and we don't know if he'll live or not. He told me to tell you."
Jinny stared at the phone in disbelief. "Are you sure?" she asked.
"I'm sure. He's got only about a 30% chance." Mrs. Blumenthal continued talking, but Jinny didn't listen. Her Teddy.. her Teddy.. close to death?


Oooh, cliffhanger for ya! I'll write more tomorrow if I can... I have two tests this week, so maybe Wednesday... or sooner!

Jinny hung up the phone and sighed. She knew she had to get to the hospital and see him, even if she knew that family would usually be in first. And friends would be after that... and she thought she could be considered a friend.
"Hey, Jin." Magda had come back with Ben, who was holding his homework out and waiting for his mother to help him. "Anything wrong?"
Jinny took a deep breath. "Teddy's in a car accident."
"Oh, no. Ben, honey, why don't you sit at mommy's desk until she's done?" Magda waved her son away and sat down next to Jinny. "When did this happen?"
"I don't know. Mrs. Blumenthal just called me about five minutes ago."
"I'm sorry, Jin. Is he going to..."
"I don't know, Mag, I don't know. Mrs. Blumenthal said there's only a 30% rate of him making it. It's like I never said anything to him after we broke up, it's like I refused to talk to him. I avoided him, Mag, and now.."
"You wanna go to the hospital?" Magda asked.
"It's the only thing that I can think of doing."
"I'll drive you over if you want," she offered.
"You're not too busy with..." Jinny asked.
"Raina'll watch Ben. Come on, Jin. You'll be doing the right thing."
Jinny nodded and got up from her seat. "Jinny and I are going out for a little bit, but Raina's going to watch you, okay, Ben?" Magda said.
Ben looked up from his homework. "Where?"
"Just a little visit to someone." Magda's words echoed in Jinny's ears. Just a little visit. A little visit that she didn't know would become an important one.

my town has been turn upside down cuz of stuff and sports are cancled cuz of the weather and i have like no hwk for once sooooooo add more cuz this rocks!

Hey, Keightee, I'll keep you attentive! lol, you have no homework? Not fair... I have SO many tests coming up! (But what's a little break now and then?) :)

"Teddy Blumenthal?" Jinny asked at the hospital.
The receptionist checked the list. "No Teddy Blumenthal here, ma'am. Theodore Blumenthal, yes, but no Teddy."
"That's him then. Room?"
"485," the receptionist answered, "just go up the hall and to the right, and there's the elevator. I've heard he's not doing so well."
Jinny nodded. "So have I."
Magda followed Jinny. "You want me to stay in the waiting room or come up with you?" she asked.
"It doesn't matter. I just want to see him."
Magda nodded. "Got it, Jin. Tell him I'm hoping for him."
Jinny agreed. "I'm not going to let him die," she muttered.
"What's that?" Magda asked.
"Nothing. I'll see you in a half hour or so."

Jinny made her way to room 485, heart pounding. The fourth floor was intensive care and nothing could be good if he was intensive, right?
"Teddy. I know you're probably not doing so well -- and probably can't understand me, you know -- but I'm saying I love you. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, for all the pain, the anguish, the..."
"Excuse me, ma'am?" a doctor stopped her before she walked in. "Are you a Blumenthal?"
Jinny stopped her prepared speech. "Is it just family at the moment?"
"It may possibly just be that until the end."
"The end?" Jinny repeated.
"Yes, the end." The doctor didn't go into more details. "Are you a Blumenthal or not?"
Jinny took a deep breath. "Yes," she lied.
"All right, go inside. He's not doing so well..."
"No kidding."
"So please be courteous when you get in there by not spending a long time in there. I understand you're family, but..."
Jinny brushed by him and walked in.
"Teddy?" Jinny whispered.
There was no answer from Teddy, a quiet Teddy looking horrible. "It's Jinny."
Teddy looked bandaged, hurt. "Jinny... your friend." She kept going. "Teddy, wake up! C'mon, Teddy, it's me!"
Teddy opened an eye weakly. "Jinny?"
"Yeah, it's me. Your mother called and said..."
"Jinny..." Teddy interrupted. "Just leave."
Jinny stared at him for a moment. "What? Teddy, I heard you wanted to see me!"
"Jinny, not now."
Jinny left, punching the elevator button. What went wrong? And why?
"You ready to go?" Magda asked.
Jinny didn't answer. She could hardly wait to get home and just drown her sorrows in a drink.

Magda dropped Jinny off home and continued driving. She knew that Jinny looked upset, and maybe a little drastic... like she wanted to do something. But Jinny was so unpredictable that she knew nothing could satisfy an upset Jinny at all. Jinny'd find comfort in the worst things.
Jinny got home, turned on the TV, and sat down, her mind still asking why Teddy was like that. It must be all the stress, she thought. Teddy was obviously stressed.
She knew she had Mrs. Blumenthal's phone number from some time or another, and thought of calling her. Maybe she'd know why Teddy, even now, was so angry, so furious. She hadn't done anything. Had she?
No. Nothing, she hadn't done anything. Maybe it was Teddy who had. Maybe Teddy was just hiding something. Hiding something, and now it was too late to find out what.
