I rented a movie called Safety patrol from the library cause it had Leslie Nielsen featured prominantly on the cover. I got it thinking it was gonna be about him but he's really a minor character in it. Weird Al also makes a dissapointing appearence in it, I don't even remember what it was but the whole film was very kiddy so I doubt his scene was that funny, or worth watching the movie for. I know it said Disney just above the logo but they also produce stuff that the family can enjoy. This must have been on the disney channel or something cause it was too kiddy for me.

It's also when I first learned that just cause Leslie Nielsen is in a movie, don't mean it will be good. Before then I saw him in the Naked Gun movies, Spy Hard, Scary Movie 3 and thought the guy was kinda invincible when he chose movies. Eventually I saw he actually picked alot of stinker movies that couldn't be saved by an appearence by him.

Yep, back in the VHS days I rented a horror film because the cover looked cool, the film turned out to be one of the worst films I've ever seen, and the creature/zombie thing isn't even in the movie.
