View Full Version : Norm, not Sam, the star? FOLN@NFan 04-21-2002, 08:16 PM who has seen the 200th anniversary special? did they say somewhere that Norm was the star, not sam??? i read this and never heard it b4(and have never seen the show) so i was just curious Janice 04-23-2002, 10:48 PM I didn't see an anniversary special, but I can say with certainty that Norm was not the star. Ted Danson was the star. Diane was too when she was in the cast. It was an ensemble cast with Ted Danson front and center. I will say that Norm (George Wendt) was an important cast member, and he got plenty of air time. As for the supporting cast, I'd say he was the star in that respect. Brad Russ 04-24-2002, 05:02 AM Iv'e seen the 200th anniversary a few times, but iv'e never heard anything about Norm being the star. Norm was awesome though, and was definitely one of my favorites on the show. Him and Carla I think were absolutely hilarious! FOLN@NFan 04-24-2002, 07:38 PM ok...i knew that ted was the star(and shelley)...i just heard that and thought i'd ask (cuz if u think about it, thats who the theme fits) Freakzilla 04-27-2002, 04:26 PM I don't think Norm was ever the star, though a lot of episodes did revolve around Norm. But one thing I do think, since the 200th anniversary episode has been mentioned in this thread, is that N@N stinks again. Cheers 200 is once again among the skipped. There is probably going to be a lot of skipping going on from now until whenever Block Party Summer starts. When BPS starts, we'll probably get 10 episodes on one night a week. All Diane episodes that have aired before on N@N. We'll be lucky if Woody makes his first appearance before BPS ends and Cheers starts over in the regular schedule. Of course, that's if there is a BPS this year. |
