RobinW 07-29-2016, 10:47 AM Wow! I would have thought he was one of those fugitives who just died of natural causes while on the run without anyone finding out about it. Amazing to hear they found him after all this time!
MegtheEgg86 07-29-2016, 04:33 PM WHOA.
I had an inkling that if Taylor was ever found, it wouldn't be too far from home. I was banking on the FBI finding him back in Chattanooga, though! Glad they caught up with him.
justins5256 07-29-2016, 06:22 PM Wow, this is great! He's another one I figured would probably just die on the run, if he hadn't already. Never say never when it comes to the possibility of apprehending a fugitive.
cdr369 07-29-2016, 09:16 PM I read that today and was in disbelief. I believe the original crime happened in the late 1970s. I knew he was never caught, but assumed he would be dead by now. I can't wait for more details.
1990 UM fan 07-30-2016, 12:39 AM Holy s***, Batman, this is amazing news. Makes me wonder if other fugitives that have been on the lam for decades have hope of being captured too. Can't wait to hear the developments soon.
ScaryFog 07-31-2016, 09:58 PM It's great this message board is around otherwise updates like this would go unnoticed by fans of UM. Great to hear about this.

cdr369 07-31-2016, 10:31 PM His mugshot reminds me of a character you would see on Breaking Bad.

Mike Ehrmantraut with hair and 20 extra pounds.
Steve W. 08-01-2016, 12:58 AM He used to look like a young (murderous) Donald Sutherland, but not as much now.
On a serious note, I concur with the previous comments about his capture after so much time evading arrest.

YES. I couldn't figure out why his face looked so familiar to me until you said that. :) He's like a young Donald Sutherland/Anthony Edwards mash-up...
ScaryFog 08-01-2016, 12:38 PM I immediately thought of Donald Sutherland when I saw his pic.

Haha! Well, I'm here to help...compare fugitive mugshots to their celebrity doppelgangers.
xxxxmattxxxx69 08-07-2016, 10:18 PM Now just gotta find Brad Bishop and Joe Maloney
And not sure if UM profiled Carl Alfred Eder but have to find him too
unsolved243 03-12-2018, 07:03 PM Taylor was found guilty of second-degree murder and has been sentenced to life in prison!
William Taylor sentenced to life in prison for 1977 Florida murder plot (http://www.greensboro.com/rockingham_now/news/william-taylor-sentenced-to-life-in-prison-for-florida-murder/article_9c34682a-25a1-11e8-adc6-8ffab0558a66.html)
Surprisingly, the article says that the tip that led to Taylor's arrest was from an anonymous tipster who saw a repeat of the Unsolved Mysteries episode.

My top catch (who may or may not be dead) would be William Fischer. What kind of a person kills their own son?
