In my last thread, I wrote about episodes of other shows besides "Gimme a Break!" that have been uploaded onto You Tube and are still there. What I find interesting is videos that get uploaded by one person and then get uploaded again by somebody different. This tends to happen even if I do not see anything wrong with the first upload. There are a lot of episodes of "Gimme a Break!" that fall under this category. It would be one thing if the quality of the first upload was not very good or if there were deleted scenes that another uploader was able and willing to include. But, I just cannot understand why somebody would want to upload a video that is already up there in the exact same fashion as the one by the second uploader! In addition to "Gimme a Break!", I have found a bunch of routines from old "Sesame Street" episodes that have been uploaded in the exact same fashion and with the exact same quality multiple times. Well, in my last thread, I mentioned episodes of "Three's Company" that are up on You Tube. Some were uploaded upwards of three months ago and are still there. However, new uploads of the same episodes keep coming! There are some episodes of that particular show that have been uploaded by five different people! Would anyone here like to kick around some theories as to what people think they have to gain by uploading videos that are already available to the public?
