I don't know much about him, the movie was highly romanticized. (I don't think he ended up marrying Doris Day in real life) but hey, he sang "Higher Than a Hawk" "I Can Do Without You" and "The Black Hills of Dakota". Good movie. I'm sure you can find stuff on the internet, many people have heard of him. One of the best shots in the Old West I believe. If you would like to see for yourself about these people come up to Hayannis Port, Cape Cod to the Kennedy Compound and have a looksie. I personally am not a Kennedy fan. I think their whole family is increddibly overrated. Has Maria Shriver done ANYTHING worth being famous for? I have no desire to meet anyone in that family, and in my own opinion (please don't attack me for it) JFK was not the greatest man that ever lived. Central Perk 04-30-2002, 04:15 PM Well I'm related to some Florida singer I don't think shes that famous I think she does weddings. My grandmother was a secretary at Jimmy Fallon's (from SNL) school when he was in eigth grade and I know the house where he grew up in. I really don't. All I was basically asking was if you didn't like them. I was curious. Am I allowed to be curious? Ags2000 05-01-2002, 05:16 PM Originally posted by SoFl123 i dont like the kennedy's ill come straight out with it. i dont like the kennedys Okay, I'm going to step in here. Karli isn't attacking y'all for not liking the Kennedy's. She just asked a simple question. Why don't you like them? You are responding by basically saying "because" Because is not a real answer y'all. If it's because of the scandle's they've been involved in and have gotten away with, then say that. If it's because they are democrats, say that. Just explain is all she is asking here. She's not trying to force people to like thim nor is she saying y'all need to shut up. She just asked a simple question...Why don't you like them? I for one am curious as well. Why don't you like them? Is it just JFK's family or the entire clan that you don't like? The freaky thing is, I look so much like Ginger, and I'm related to her distantly... she's the person I'm most proud of being related to, however. I aspire to have a career as successful as hers was one day. I'll be the famous connection of my bloodline in THIS generation. I'm also related to some poets, etc. but I can't remember who else. I've always had a warped fantasy that Bebe Neuwirth was my long lost mother though! Other than that, once I make a name for myself, all my family will be posting here saying they're related to ME. ;) Here's a picture of Ginger, for those who don't know who she is. She's most commonly linked with Fred Astaire, the most famous dancing duo of the 20th Century. |
