I've never seen Angie. Svenfan1234 07-25-2016, 08:12 PM Laverne and Shirley is my #1 Garry Marshall show. They go in this order: 1. Laverne and Shirley 2. The Odd Couple 3. Happy Days 4. Mork and Mindy I've never seen Angie either icecream 07-25-2016, 08:13 PM As for his acting, Stan Lansing was a great role on Murphy Brown. BigManMike 07-25-2016, 08:35 PM 1. Happy Days 2. Laverne and Shirley 3. Mork and Mindy I've never seen the Odd Couple or Angie so I can't comment on those. tlc38tlc38 07-25-2016, 10:17 PM Laverne & Shirley. I've never seen "Angie" or "The Odd Couple" but I do like "Happy Days". I used to like "Mork & Mindy" but not so much anymore. Svenfan1234 07-25-2016, 10:47 PM Laverne & Shirley. I've never seen "Angie" or "The Odd Couple" but I do like "Happy Days". I used to like "Mork & Mindy" but not so much anymore. I love The Odd Couple!! The complete series is only $39 on Amazon! That's a great deal! I want to get that set soon! treky 07-26-2016, 12:42 AM he was involved with "ANGIE"? I never knew that! I used to love that show! (and it was set in Philadelphia which is where I was living at the time) I remember seeing "HEY LANDLORD!" years ago in the 70s when a local station used to show the reruns on weekday afternoons. Anyway for me it's "THE ODD COUPLE". 70s show watcher 07-26-2016, 12:49 AM i i like almost all of his shows but my fave is happy days bgva 07-26-2016, 01:03 AM Odd Couple easily. The first couple seasons of Happy Days are great, but when it became about Fonzie and his sudden superpowers, the show became a typical cheesy 70s sitcom. Laverne and Shirley is enjoyable. Angie and Mork and Mindy were okay...again, typical 70s sitcoms. KatieAnn 07-26-2016, 09:40 AM The Odd Couple. howilu 07-26-2016, 10:05 AM My favorite Garry Marshall sitcom is Happy Days with The Odd Couple a very close second. lakesgirl 07-26-2016, 10:27 AM Laverne & Shirley. I just laughed a lot when I watched that show. But I also have a soft spot in my heart for Happy Days. AB 07-26-2016, 07:20 PM Laverne & Shirley, the show always makes me laugh. My second favorite is Happy Days Mr. Television 07-27-2016, 09:45 PM Happy Days Adamantium 07-28-2016, 07:48 AM 1. The Odd Couple (especially seasons 2-5) 2. Happy Days (especially seasons 3-11) 3. Laverne & Shirley 4. Mork & Mindy robyrob 07-28-2016, 09:51 AM i i like almost all of his shows but my fave is happy days ditto :happyface Babalu 07-29-2016, 01:05 AM I loved Happy Days until it became silly. But The Odd Couple was the best by far. Even Garry Marshall said so. Torgo 07-29-2016, 10:44 AM Happy Days I like the show even after the first 2 seasons. Post Richie and Ralph, the only episode I really enjoyed was when Richie came back for the two-parter. It's the most rewatchable show for me. Laverne & Shirley is great also, until they move to California, then it became hit or miss, mostly miss. The Odd Couple is strong from beginning to end. Mork & Mindy is decent, there's some fun episodes. Haven't watched Angie since it originally aired, but it was a show I looked forward to, I do consider it a favorite from childhood. DJM77 07-29-2016, 07:29 PM Not that anyone would pick it as their favorite, but wasn't Blansky's Beauties also a Garry Marshall creation? icecream 07-29-2016, 07:43 PM Not that anyone would pick it as their favorite, but wasn't Blansky's Beauties also a Garry Marshall creation?Blansky's Beauties and Joanie Loves Chachi were spin-offs that Garry Marshall produced, but did not create. DJM77 07-29-2016, 07:53 PM Blansky's Beauties and Joanie Loves Chachi were spin-offs that Garry Marshall produced, but did not create. Did he create any flops (aside from Angie, if that counts as a flop)? Jack Gomez 08-02-2016, 10:09 AM 1. Laverne & Shirley 2. Happy Days 3. Mork & Mindy 4. The Odd Couple AMackII 11-04-2019, 10:03 AM I like Happy Days but i also liked Laverne & Shirley, The Odd Couple and Mork & Mindy. PhoenixAcres 11-04-2019, 10:18 AM The Odd Couple is my favorite. Sal 11-04-2019, 08:54 PM Did he create any flops (aside from Angie, if that counts as a flop)? I saw Angie and it wasn't too bad. I thought it would last longer. Other than "Joanie Loves Chachi", the only other flop that I would remember from Garry Marshall was a show called "Out Of The Blue" about an angel named Random who tried to help people but wasn't very good at it. He also appeared (at random!) on "Happy Days" and "Mork and Mindy" but the extra exposure didn't help the ratings. For me, "Happy Days" is Garry Marshall's best show as well as my favorite sitcom of all time. After that I would pick "Laverne and Shirley" followed by "Mork and Mindy" and "The Odd Couple". Crusinforabrusin2.5 11-05-2019, 10:55 AM Laverne and Shirley was laugh out loud funny and never had a truly bad year Happy Days was good for nostalgic purposes and the Fonz. Unlike Laverne and Shirley, Happy Days had some terrible years, specifically after Howard and Most left icecream 11-05-2019, 02:37 PM Did he create any flops (aside from Angie, if that counts as a flop)?A few posters in this thread have mentioned Hey Landlord! It was a one season flop from 1966. Sal 11-06-2019, 10:59 PM Laverne and Shirley was laugh out loud funny and never had a truly bad year Happy Days was good for nostalgic purposes and the Fonz. I thought the quality of the show decreased from that point on, especially in the last year when Penny Marshall had to do the show by herself.
