Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett (You're Next, The Guest, VHS, A Horrible Way To Die) have teamed up again for another horror movie that was originally titled The Woods, but at the 2016 Comic-Con made a surprise announcement, that it was actually going to be a new Blair Witch movie.

I'm a huge fan of the original Blair Witch Project, and had heard that the original makers of BW were going to be making the 3rd BW film. Ah well. I like Adam and Simon's previous films so I'll definitely give this one a shot.
