"S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Daredevil" Vets Join "Blindspot" Season 2 as Series Regulars

A couple of TV vets have inked (pun definitely intended) deals to join "Blindspot" as series regulars in Season 2.

Luke Mitchell (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Tomorrow People) and Michelle Hurd (Daredevil, Ash vs Evil Dead) will potentially flesh out the backstory of Jaimie Alexander’s mysteriously tattooed Jane, TVLine has learned.

Mitchell’s Roman and Hurd’s character (whose name has not yet been revealed) are members of the shadowy organization that sent Jane to the FBI — sans memory and with those cryptic markings all over her body.

"Blindspot" moves to a new night in Season 2 — Wednesdays — beginning Sept. 14. After debuting in a special post-America’s Got Talent slot at 10 pm, the series will settle into its regular Wednesday-at-8/7c perch on Sept. 21.

"Blindspot" Season 3: "There's No Plan to Bring Back Shepherd," Creator Says
by Rebecca Iannucci
September 2, 2017

Here’s some good news for "Blindspot‘s" Jane Doe: Shepherd won’t be reappearing in her life anytime soon.

Series creator Martin Gero has confirmed for TVLine that Michelle Hurd — who was a series regular on the NBC drama’s sophomore season — is not currently slated to appear on Season 3.

“We don’t yet have a plan to bring her back, but it’s not a closed door in any way,” Gero said. “She’s certainly busy because she’s so amazing. We love her, and we’d love to find a way to bring her back, but there’s no plan as of yet.”

In the May 17 finale, Shepherd’s plan to take over the U.S. government was foiled, and viewers last saw Hurd’s character getting interrogated by Archie Panjabi’s Nas.

Michelle Hurd was one of the brave women who called Pill Cosby out on his disgusting behavior.
