Is anyone else having trouble with an AD causing your computer to freeze up? It's been happening for awhile but it's getting worse. It's the ad with the car and it talks about the best cars in the world. Every time it comes up my computer gets stuck.

Freezing up was really bad yesterday and some days before it. Since I've been on today everything has been fine, maybe that ad has been removed.

I didn't know which add it was, but it did slow things down. Seems okay today.

SO had been fine several days in a row. Then that best car ad came back and froze three times tonight. :mad:

I've been having frequent problems with SO freezing up the last few weeks. Every time it's been that lousy "Best" Cars ad that causes it. I understand the need for ads to make money, but surely there are lots of companies with safe ads that don't freeze up every time. The blog doesn't freeze, if the message boards could get ads like those. I can't be the only one this is affecting as I am not the member who started this thread. :(

My idea of the best car in the world has not been made for fifty (50) years! I cannot now think of any make or model, made in the last 40 years, that I would poke my arse into. And believe it! It would be a poking.
