"The Vampire Diaries" Casts "Stitchers" Star as Mysterious Season 8 Character

If Allison Scagliotti thinks stitching her friend into dead people’s memories is a tad on the unusual side, just wait until she steps foot in Mystic Falls.
Scagliotti, who also stars on Freeform’s "Stitchers", will recur in "The Vampire Diaries‘" upcoming eighth season — premiering Friday, Oct. 21 at 8/7c on The CW — as Georgie, TVLine has learned, an occult reach intern “driven by a horrific darkness in her own past.”
Georgie, who “channels her existential anxieties into a new field of study that will force her to confront her deepest fears,” makes her first appearance in the Season 8 premiere.
