I did not blame Mallory for shaking his hand at the end of the episode not after what he ha done earlier. Sorry about the passing of the actor. TVFactFan 08-21-2017, 08:14 PM Crazy Uncle Arthur touching and kissing on Mallory? This episode was kind of weird for a family show Mr. Television 08-21-2017, 08:18 PM I remember that show. Svenfan1234 08-22-2017, 01:32 PM I think the topic like that was on more than Family Ties at the time, so I can see how NBC allowed it. Still, very awkward episode. But it seems to me like 1982 TV was an "anything goes" type setting. But it seems to me like 1982 TV was an "anything goes" type setting. Very special episodes on socially relevent topics weren't unusual in the 1980's. In fact the topic of child/sexual abuse was also addressed on episodes of Diff'rent Strokes and Mr. Belvedere. Elyse should have punched the coworker who tried to seduce her husband too. She was WAY worse than Mr. Tedesco in my opinion. |
