Since CBS has been showing newly colorized episodes of I Love Lucy the past few years (especially around Christmas with them showing a newly colorized version of the "I Love Lucy Christmas Special"), what do you think the odds of CBS giving this episode the same treatment? I know that colorization is a touchy subject with these episodes and I don't think that they should colorize the whole series but I think a colorized version of this episode would be worth watching.

I think there's a good chance they'll try colorizing at least one episode. The Andy Griffith episode they colorized last year did well enough to get a DVD release.

So, do we start a write in campaign to CBS?
I also think there is a good chance they will
Colorize the Honeymooners.

They seem to do these in pairs.
Last year they did 2 Andy shows,
"Christmas Story" & "Pickle Story"

So if they did do the Honeymooners Christmas
& another episode, which should it be?

I would like to see an episode that has scenes
in both apartments and/or Gleason in an outfit.

"The Golfer," "Man From Space," "The Sleepwaker,"
"Please Leave The Premises."

I wonder what are the odds of them showing a colorized episode THIS year?
I know colorization takes a REAL REAL long time. I am hopeful CBS started the colorization process a long time ago.

Bad news. I called CBS in LA and the person who I spoke to said he didn't hear anything about CBS colorizing The Honeymooners. He transferred me to their NY office so I can make a request.

I am wondering what the possibility is of CBS showing a colorized episode THIS year. I know if they didn't start on it now than there is NO chance.

I just stumbled onto this site. Unless, I missed it, there is no mention of a colorized Honeymooners XMas. Oh well.
