August 6th marks a very special day in the game show world. On August 6th The Chase made it's debut in America for the first time on GSN in 2013 and introduced Americans to Mark Labbett and so I would like to ask in honor of the anniversary of The Chase's American debut when did you learn about The Chase when it was gonna be debuting on GSN in 2013
Feel free to share your stories and memories of GSN's The Chase

My favorite memory is a commercial when Brooke called Mark a "pain in the arse" That was funny!

The very first time I heard about The Chase was when I was watching Catch 21 and I saw a commercial for The Chase on GSN and to be honest I didn't think I would like it at first but when it debuted it's first episode I was hooked on The Chase and I never knew it would be a hit in America. I think what really made The Chase successful in America was the fact that it was a game show that was unique from any other show on TV and the second reason why The Chase was so successful was because of Mark Labbett and I think because of the show he would become a bonafide star in America and Brooke Burns was a perfect host for The Chase and I think we need more female game show hosts in the game show world that are talented like Brooke Burns. What I think caused the demise of The Chase is that GSN kept changing the days and annoyingly kept showing the same episodes from the last seasons on weekends and adding celebrity episodes as a way to gain a more attractive audience. But one thing I think GSN could've done to save The Chase was add another chaser from America like Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter or had another chaser from the original UK version of The Chase like Paul Sinha or Shaun Wallace and that could've saved The Chase from being cancelled. I also think what really hurt The Chase on GSN is that at the time The Chase was a monster hit The Chase had moved to second place in GSN's ratings when game shows like Idiotest and Apolo Ohno's Minute To Win It debuted I think The Chase was getting low ratings because more people watched Minute To Win It and Idiotest more than The Chase. And now ever since The Chase was unexpectedly cancelled you don't hear much about Mark Labbett since he is a chaser in the Australian version of The Chase and you have never heard anything about Brooke Burns since The Chase was cancelled. GSN should try to make a new American revival of The Chase and bring Mark Labbett back but this time have Bradley Walsh host it and also have another chaser in the show along with Mark Labbett and that would be a huge hit for GSN. Because since The Chase got cancelled GSN has never had another trivia game show like The Chase on TV because trivia based game shows are big winners with game show fans young and old alike
