I was thinking about how much money has been lost not only to Bill Cosby, but to the company that owns the series and possibly some of the actors of the show who might have had a piece of the show or residuals. The Cosby Show if it were not for Cosby would be shown somewhere 24 hours a day for decades. I am sure that the corporation who owns the rights to the show to sell to domestic and foreign television markets, thought they could make a billion dollars, but now it seems the show is about as worthless as my IPad videos singing in the shower.
Is the Cosby Show available on any format? It is not on television. Probably I could buy the show on DVD, which is probably not selling well. Unless, I am mistaken, the show is not shown anywhere due to Cosby's worsening legal situation.
Couldn't the company who owns the show, or some of the actors of the series sue Cosby for his behavior negatively affecting their earnings and possible work? Because of Cosby, a lot of people and stockholders lost a lot of money.
Thoughts?
