I found out (too late to watch today) that my MyNetworkTV affiliate airs The Munsters and The Addams Family every Saturday at 1:00PM and 1:30PM right before Leverage. That makes for an awesome 2 hour block.

I don't get either of those networks. The only retronet Fort Wayne has is Antenna TV (and Bounce, which is worthless to me). I do wonder if The Munsters at 5PM was too strong of competition for Mork and Mindy and it would have done better in a different afternoon hour.

Munsters are on Cozi TV 5-6 pm ET weekdays. This TV has the Addams Family on the goofiest schedule ever - somewhere between one and four episodes somewhere between 4 and 6 am ET on the weekends. I guess they use it to fill time so their movie schedule kicks off when they want it to.


If only I was that lucky that I can discover even one of these shows on TV again. I have to settle for worthless crap like The NEW Addams Family which has been re-run here on various channels every day for the last decade or so. Meanwhile, I don't think the old one has been on for more than 15 years. It's just crazy!

I still watch The Addams Family on THIS-TV, every weekend. It's always on in the middle of the day, so the scheduling could be a LOT worse.:)

The only thing my network tv in my area airs outside of it's tv series is airs Paid Programming

Wings will also be on Antenna TV this fall, which if you ask me, is a really dumb idea! They should have chosen "The Munsters" instead which would have been a better fit.

I love Wings, it's almost as good as Frasier. While The Munsters is good, it wouldn't have enough episodes for weekdays with just two seasons.

They are often programmed by broadcast stations because they are offered free in exchange for ad time (aka barter syndication).

This hour didn't last long. I was going to watch The Munsters and its hour with The Addams Family has been replaced by Major Crimes. :(

I got BOTH shows on for FREE a few years ago (Nearly every Automobile Dealer in my area was giving out $5.00 and $10.00 Gift Cards and/or "Golden Dollars" for Targhee and Uncle Wally's on that day). I took full advantage of this opportunity to get those cards. Receiving their flyers in the mail, I took them to the dealers, got the cards and/or dollars. On the way home I raided the bargain bins at both stores. :lol:
