"Hunters" Canceled after 1 Season at Syfy

"Hunters", the Syfy series executive produced by "The Walking Dead‘s" Gale Anne Hurd, has been canceled after a single season. The finale of the 13-episode season aired last night.
The series, based on Whitley Strieber’s bestselling 2013 novel Alien Hunter, premiered April 11 and starred Nathan Phillips, Britne Oldford and Julian McMahon.
Written by Natalie Chaidez (Heroes), the harsh series chronicled the disappearance of a decorated Philadelphia cop’s wife, which leads him to a secret government unit assembled to hunt a group of ruthless terrorists — shadowy figures that may or may not be from this world.
Universal Cable Productions and Hurd’s Valhalla Entertainment were the producers.
