So we’re nearing the home stretch, and this season was weird, to say the least. To remind us of where we’re coming from, let’s take a quick look at where we’ve been in this series. Season one was bad, but in a “they’re just copying the original class nearly word for word” sort of bad. Season two was complete and utter **** and best relegated to the dust bin. Season three saw a significant improvement but still had some pretty bad episodes and made Lindsay and Tommy D feel superfluous. Season four did better on integrating the cast as a whole but it felt like they had no clue what attributes to give the new cast members.

I know getting rid of Rachel Meyers too quick from this show was kind of dangerous. She was good, but the critics argued that she became too maturely experienced in this show in a hurry for no reason at all. I don't think removing Rachel too quick didn't let the show down too badly quick yet. But removing Ryan too quick after season 5 was the result on letting the show down too badly quick completely.
