View Full Version : I pretty much like Antenna TV's new schedule!!!

The PST schedule is great!!:) Except Green Acres is on way too early now!:( But the thing is I've not really been watching it much lately anyway because To tell the truth is on BUZZR at 11:00! And I've been getting into that because BUZZR is a new channel for me!
;)
I'm loving that I can now see Hazel, McHales navy and Mr. Ed ! :) They were on so early before ! And still see Leave it to Beaver ,but a little later!:)

I also wish One day at a time was switched to 11:00 AM or 12:00PM PST ! At 1:00 , I have to miss sometimes, depending on my work schedule! :( Or have it back on at night, 8PM would be a PERFECT spot for ODAAT for me !! ;)

On second thought, 6 really isn't THAT early for Green Acres. Sometimes I'm up at that time, but usually the TV isn't on yet! Better than 4 or 5 in the morning!

The schedule is pretty good but I'd like to see them mix it up a little more add a little to the variety. Also you know what would be a great addition to their line-up,the show Alice.Afterall it was so popular during it's original run and such a good show. Why they or MeTV don't pick that show up is beyond me.

The schedule is pretty good, especially with Maude being back. I kind of wish The Partridge Family was at 4 and One Day at a Time at 8 and Jeffersons at 10! As much as I love Barney Miller, it needs a rest just the same.

I don't mind Growing Pains! It's OK, I don't love it or hate it!;) I'll probably give it a try, just like I did Family Ties, but gave up on it quickly! Kind of got boring!

But than Mike had the two friends that were kind of cute! I might just watch for them! ;)

Probably 10PM to start out with. Newhart SHOULD be in primetime! Plus, I think Wings will be at 10PM this fall to start out with and probably 7 days a week like how Family Ties and Newhart started.

As much as I love Barney Miller, it needs a rest just the same.No it doesn't, Barney Miller is an excellent primetime choice. The shows that need a long rest are All in the Family, Good Times, Sanford and Son, and Three's Company. They've been on since Antenna started out, Barney Miller is a few years younger.

Well, I just think it needs a rest. Maybe not everyone else does, but I do. It worked best one day a week.

Too much Norman Lear crud on this lineup, 6 straight hours every day is overkill. When Wings joins the schedule in September my affiliate had better stick with Antenna, it keeps getting extended but currently ends after August. This is what I would schedule, don't know if Growing Pains and Alice come then but will put them on.

5:00 AM Mister Ed
6:00 AM Mork and Mindy
7:00 AM Sabrina the Teenage Witch
8:00 AM Bewitched
9:00 AM I Dream of Jeannie
10:00 AM Dear John
11:00 AM Green Acres
12:00 PM The Partridge Family
1:00 PM Alice
2:00 PM Hazel
3:00 PM Mr. Belvedere
4:00 PM Leave it to Beaver
5:00 PM Growing Pains
6:00 PM Alfred Hitchcock Presents
7:00 PM Wings
8:00 PM Family Ties
9:00 PM Newhart
10:00 PM Barney Miller
11:00 PM Johnny Carson
12:00 AM The Jeffersons
1:00 AM One Day at a Time
2:00 AM Johnny Carson
3:00 AM Maude
4:00 AM Three's Company

^I don't think they'll get rid of All in the Family anytime soon. The Norman Lear shows pull this network in a big way. Like it or not, most people like his shows. Not wanting to start a fight or a debate, Just stating a fact.

I'd like to see Good Times get a rest. It's the weakest show, imo.

I agree. I like those shows but Antenna TV has just worn them out and they really need to go. I really don't care that much for Barney Miller although I like the theme.

If they show Alice, I just hope it's prime time. At least they don't do the split screen crunch then, and that way I can record Seasons 5-9, then edit out the commercials then I will dub over the closing credits with the full theme so I can hear it and not have the commercial audio. I just hope it's not on during the day when the split screen I used.

Yes! Chico and the man would be cool! Also My Two Dads and Archie Bunkers Place, along with Alice! ;)

What would really be neat if they did would be to have ABP, Alice and ODAAT all on in a row, just like they did in the early 80's on CBS Sunday nights! ;)

Is Hulu free? Everything I look at, it's asking me to start a "free trial" which would indicate you have to pay in the future for service. I'm not paying to see only 3 seasons of Green Acres. Other than "GA", I have no interest in Hulu.

I have no idea, but I always thought there was the free option and then there was the paid option. I don't know though.

There are certain shows over there that are free but you wouldn't know it by looking at the website. Everywhere you go they want to set you up for a free trial.

There is Hulu and Hulu Plus. Regular Hulu programming is free where as anything thats part of Hulu Plus you have to pay to view.
