Jim Morrison (The Doors) died in Paris on this date in 1971 at age 27. May he rest in peace. :(

Well, there are a few of those rumors saying he "may not" have actually died in Paris. No coronor's report, suspicious things going on, etc. So the story goes.
They even say he may have just dropped out of the limelight because of all the notoriety going on at the time, and became an anonymous writer perhaps. Last I heard he may have actually faked his death and is living on islands in the Indian Ocean.

Of course I personally think he died on this day in 1971. He was drinking and drugging himself out of control, so I doubt he survived.
