Harry Potter Star Tom Felton Joins "The Flash"

In a rather magical bit of casting, The CW’s hit superhero drama "The Flash" has recruited Harry Potter vet Tom Felton to join Season 3 in a series regular role, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Felton will play Julian Dorn, a fellow CSI at the Central City Police Department who suspects there’s more to Barry Allen than just his good guy reputation.

Tom Felton Not Returning as Series Regular for "The Flash" Season 4

Looks like Julian Albert won’t be part of the effort to rescue The Flash from the speed force.

Tom Felton, who joined The CW drama’s ensemble last year as Barry Allen’s CSI supervisor, will not return as a series regular for Season 4, TVLine has confirmed.



Over the course of his run, Julian went from being a thorn in Barry’s side in the workplace to an unwitting acolyte of Big Bad Savitar to a valued member of Team Flash. He also developed a budding romance with Caitlin Snow, which was cut short by her Killer Frost turmoil.

(Rather than taking the cure that Julian had developed, Caitlin declared that she needed time to figure out who she was now.)



Felton — who was absent from San Diego Comic-Con last week and whose alter ego was not seen in "The Flash" Season 4 trailer — is not set to appear in a guest-star or recurring capacity, but that could change, storyline and schedule-permitting.

What he was referring to is Charlie managing to stay on a hit television show for a couple of years too long while beating women and smoking crack with porn stars and hookers. Charlie was the star but even he went too far. This actor thinks he is all that because he used to be in a franchise and got it drummed in his head early on that he was a star. It is because they needed him for the franchise. They didn’t need him for the show. So, when you spend all of last season ticking every actor and crew member off and come to work drunk or late or skip work with some lame excuse, people remember. Our actor actually wanted a raise for this season. He was fortunate that he got to keep any kind of job on the show. He is certainly going to have a tough time landing another job after word gets around.
