Did anybody else feel the earthquake that occured in Plattsburgh, NY. It was a 5.1 earthquake and it occured at about 6:53 this morning. Reports say it got as far as Ohio and Maryland. I Felt it. It was freaky.

I felt it too! I woke up, and my whole bed and house were shaking. I yelled out, "Our house is shaking! Why is our house shaking???" LOL I think someone told me it was something to do with the guys paving our street. I thought that maybe it was an earthquake and went back to bed. It was kinda scary though....

i slept through it....or maybe i didnt cuz i wake up a random moments in the night...but i dont remember anything shaking....my dad felt it though

I felt it!! I woke up and I felt my bed shaking and I thought it was my sister, so I went "Shannon!" and sat up but no one was there.... so I fell asleep and then I went downstairs and my dad said "You slept throught it too?" snd I went "What?" and he said "The earthquake" :eek: <~~~ that was me

I felt it. I have this really cluttered book case in my room next to my bed, so I woke up by all my lotion bottles crashing down on me. You know...one thing falls, they all fall down :rolleyes: Well I'm sitting there and I'm like "MOTHER WE'RE DYING!" and she yells back "It's only an earthquake. Go back to bed"

Now there's a good thing about living in Scotland - no earthquakes!!

Nah But I know what its like. Ive been through a 5.0, 5.5 and 6.8(actully ive been through a bunch but those are the ones at or over 5.0) earthquake.... And Yep They are scary!

I must have slept through it. In fact, I just woke up about 20 minutes ago :D I love the weekends :lol: :lol: :lol: :D

I've never been in an earthquake... we dont really get those here at all.

I live in Maryland, but I didn't feel it. Although, I was asleep at 6:57 so...yea

I felt it. I walked into my bathroom and the door started to shake.

OMG, I was in my bed... and my eyes shot open. All of a sudden I heard everything shaking, and I felt like my head was spinning. I've never been in an earthquake before. The only other time was like a split second and I slept through it. This one I actually FELT. I was so drowsy that I actually thought it was a dream, though! You know those dreams where you are falling and you actually physically feel like you're falling? I thought it was like that: I was dreaming about an earthquake, and I felt it. Unfortunately, it really WAS an earthquake. :eek:
