You know how sometimes you don't want to see a show, but then your friend suggests it to you, and you end up liking it. Have any of you had that happen? If so, list them below.

Dateline, September 1966. I was quite dismayed when I found out Thunderbirds was taken off the air (This show has the honor of being my first intro to that wonderful realm called Science Fiction):ufo: Talking about this with a friend during lunch at school, I got news that another "Space Show" was on TV at 8:00 PM on Thursday night. Turning on my TV, I beheld the sight of a rather bizarre looking spacecraft that looked like a flying saucer crossed with a jet airplane. Whenever this craft arrived at a planet to explore the crew had a rather unusual way of getting to that planet's surface, they'd get into a room and disintegrate themselves, then reintegrate themselves on the planet's surface., then vice-versa to return to the ship. Among the crew of this spacecraft was an alien who had "pointy ears".

The world was never the same after this.
