I'm surprised that John Ritter's alleged "dirty laundry" isn't touched upon. I wonder if it's because Ritter by most accounts that I've heard, was a really nice guy in real life and of course, his tragic, untimely death pretty much cemented his "revered status".

Yeah I feel bad about posting this thread with such a sleazy headline...John was a really nice person and apparently he and Nancy (his first wife) got along great after their divorce, so I guess it's nobody's business. Even Amy Yasbeck and Nancy Morgan got along with each other. All three seem like nice people, which is rare in Hollywood then or now.

EVERYONE dies. Even sleazy people and saints. That doesn't mean you NEVER say anything bad about them. Especially now that John has been gone over a DECADE and a half.

John would have been the first to tell you he was no saint. Joyce said John had affairs with some of the female guest stars! Can you really blame him?? Some of those guest stars were goddesses like Tori Lysdahl. I would've done the same but I never would've gotten married so young to begin with!

Yeah, especially THAT show during ABC's prime "jiggle" period, with tons of hot actresses on set or on nearby sets.
