When I think of cult classic, I think of something that wasn't very successful during its original run but still has a very devoted following (a la the original Star Trek).

Batman was considered to be campy schlock when it first ran but is now a cult classic the same with Gilligan's Island, Voyage To The Bottom of The Sea, UFO, Lost In Space, and Land Of The Giants.

The term 'worst show' wouldn't apply but the original Twilight Zone has enjoyed cult status in reruns over the years.

i have to agree with square pegs i like some of the actors and writers on the show but i did not care for the show itself at all

Gilligan's Island was just an awful, awful show, but it has somehow managed to be a cult classic.

one show i never could get into is little house on the prairie! laura gets into trouble then she has a friend Nellie Oleson that always bullying her then they try to get even!!! i just didn't like that show!! my brother liked it a lot!! so before or after school was over with we watched that shoW!
