I don't know why but ever since I was a kid I always thought those immortal words of "Poo Low See Bagoomba" were just so silly, unforgettable and iconic that I often still say this silly catch phrase. Almost NO ONE knows what I'm talking about, and I have to explain the gag to everyone who hears me say it. It's just such a stupid combination of syllables to me. Apparently I'm not ALONE!
Watch this video clip where they loop it a few times.

Thanks for mentioning this phrase. At my present place of employment I have a co-worker that said this about five years ago. I used to watch Gilligan's Island as a kid and when he said these words I got a good laugh. Every once in a while we will say this to each other. Yep, NO ONE else knows what we are talking about either! Other than that, I think I am the biggest Tina Louise fan on the face of the Earth. Take care antman67!

I have my 5 year old walking around the house saying "Poo Low See Bagoomba". When she said it at school, her 26 year old Kindergarten teacher never heard of it before, and she was completely puzzled. Ha, ha!

How about using that phrase on a greeting card for Christmas, Birthday etc..

Pulla See Ba Goomba.
Don't look now, Professor, but there are 3 BIG reminders (headhunters-Skipper).

It's from one of the 1967 episodes, one of the last broadcast-
Season 3's "High Man on the Totem Pole", 2/27/67. Very good one....and the girls are "skinny di;ppin'" in that mud bog...with their "heads cut off"...(well, that's the way Gilligan saw it).
Lovey to Gilligan: Have a Hard bald egg. Be Bald my son.(The Howells both clearly wanted him as a son).
