I just finished watching all six seasons of Becker yesterday and I have to say I miss it already. But all shows end and I’m glad it didn’t go on and on because two of my favorite characters (Reggie & Bob) were off the show by the last season anyway. My only complaint is its lack of presence now. I look up interviews with the cast and can only find Ted Danson talking about Cheers, CSI or Bored to Death, Shawnee Smith talking about the Saw movies and Anger Management and Terry Farrell talking about her time on one of the Star Trek series. It’s like the show came and went and there’s no interest in it now. The message board here isn’t very active. Nor is the one on imdb. It’s sad as it’s such a good show.

It reminded me somewhat of Wings as I watched it. But that makes sense because the creator of Becker was a writer for Wings. Plus I recognize some other names from Wings working on Becker.

Oh well. At least I became a fan of it and own the complete series on DVD.

I agree--it's sad that the show seems to be pretty much forgotten. It is such a great show that was well-written and even better acted. Terry Farrell is more than happy to talk about the show when asked, but it seems like most of her fans only care to talk about Star Trek.

At one time in my area, Becker was pretty prominent in syndication -- along with Friends, King of Queens, and Everybody Loves Raymond. Becker is the only one of that group to disappear from my local airwaves -- which is a shame because it's such a funny series.

Becker fans I think would also enjoy The Naked Truth.
