Pancakes for me!

Pancakes for me. IHOP has some really good ones. I like the ones with the strawberries, but I only go there a couple of times a year since I don't want to end up weighing 500 pounds. :eek: :lol:

My favorite is French Toast Sticks, but since it ain't listed I'll go with Pancakes

I'll settle for the toaster, too much mess involved making waffles from scratch.

So you prefer sweet to savory foods? I prefer the savory. I love breakfast foods like cheese omelets, Spanish omelets and vegetable omelets. I also love eggs scrambled or over easy... gotta have the home fries and wheat toast on the side. It's been many years since I've had anything like waffles or French toast.

Not necessarily, I just can't stand eggs. I haven't had them in probably 30 years or longer. I don't eat waffles that often and actually prefer bacon or ham for breakfast along with biscuits but no gravy.

When I made this poll I was seriously considering putting an option for sausage/bacon/ham, eggs, hash browns/home fries, toast , Etc.! ;)

I LOVE sausage or ham, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and wheat toast or an English muffin! (I'm not too big on bacon) . If I'm out for breakfast I will order this a lot, OR the French Toast plate, usually that will come with some sausage! :happyface

So ,I would say I like those two equally as much depending on if I want sweet or not!;) And of course at home it's usually ham or sausage, eggs and toast or tortillas! French toast is so messy to clean up after, and OMG I DON"T need the calories!!! So French Toast is usually just a treat at a restaurant! :happyface

I'm not really too big on pancakes or waffles either! Omelets are OK. depending how they are made. And I LOVE Eggs Benedict! I wish I had added an "Other"option in the poll! ;) Let me see if I can edit the poll! ;)

Since a few people have mentioned eggs I thought I would chime in. I only like scrambled eggs. No sunny side up, easy-over, poached or hard boiled eggs for me.

Scrambled are my favorite for breakfast! ;) I really like hard boiled eggs a lot too. They are really delicious in a Chef's salad, with ham, turkey, cheese, lettuce and all the various salad veggies and fixings!! ;) :happyface

My typical breakfast that I love to eat sometimes is a nice bowl of peaches and mangoes and other fruit and sometimes on Saturday mornings my father makes his best homemade waffles and they taste wonderful. I am not too crazy about pancakes but I perfer cereal and on Sundays I also like a southern breakfast called Eggs In A Nest and it's very good as well

I love runny eggs and dipping toast or sausage in the yolk.

Usually only eat those kinds of breakfasts on days off, work days I tend to eat cereal, or toast.

I'll be making some cheesy hashbrowns tomorrow. I used to try doing them in a skillet, but I am a TERRIBLE chef and could never get them right. Now I have an oven recipe that's practically FOOL-proof -- even for a kitchen klutz like me!

The last time I tried to cook farina, I boiled it over. My skills are non-existent, other than now being able to separate eggs...! :)
