It depends on what they are accused of. If its a murderer I think I would cuff behind them.. If its Joe Smoe who stole Candy I might put them in front...

Ya have to judge each person seperatly...

I think I read somewhere that when Handcuffing always cuff the hands behind the person. Probably for some nut could collar you in the car if they were cuffed in front.
