June 1, 2016
"Six Feet Under" is turning 15 this week, so HBO is celebrating the milestone by airing all 63 episodes on HBO2 beginning Thursday.
The drama, created by American Beauty writer and "True Blood" showrunner Alan Ball, follows the fictional Fishers — played by Peter Krause, Michael C. Hall, Frances Conroy, and Lauren Ambrose — as they run their family funeral home while dealing with the loss of their patriarch (Richard Jenkins).
The series nabbed multiple Emmys and Golden Globes over its five season run, which began on June 3, 2001. The much-discussed series finale aired Aug. 21, 2005.
