I applaud mama for stepping up to raise Bubba after Ed and Eunice took off to Florida without him. Lord knows before he got in trouble, Ed and Eunice weren't worth a crap. Sorry excuses for parents if you ask me. Based on what I heard from the first syndicated episode, They were neglectful.

And I applaud Mama too-she may be the Queen of Curmudgeons-but when push comes to shove SHE'S THERE for her family. But LOL she often makes them pay a fairly hefty price for her loyalty. She's not shy about bring ascerbic!
