We've had a few polls for Diane vs. Rebecca, so I thought we should have one for Lilith vs. Carla.

I think both women are great, but if I was forced to choose, I'd pick Lilith. She is so darn funny!

I'd have to say a tie, and I also forgot who I voted for.

She's just classic. Carla always has to insult someone to be humerous, but Lilith just opens her mouth and she's funny. She can insult someone subtly, sparing their feelings (unless of course, its Frasier or Diane who actually understand what she's saying...). Like I said, Lilith is funny even when she's NOT insulting others. Don't get me wrong, Carla is funny... but, think of it this way: if it was YOU on the recieving end of her sarcasm, would you find her quite as funny? :confused:
I don't think I would. That's totally a defense mechanism, though. I know I often will insult my friends or people I feel comfortable with to change the subject or just because I'm a huge tease. I always do it jokingly, however... Carla's just mean!

HEY GUYS!GREAT QUESTION,IT,S DEFINTILLY HARD TO PICK SINCE BOTH WOMAN ARE SO WITTY,FUNNY,ARTICULATE AND FUN AND EASY TO WATCH AND STILL LAUGH AND ENJOY YOURSELF.Still defintilly they are both very cool and funny,Alas I will have to go with Carla on this one.They are both very very very hilarous at times and are wonderful characters in there own way.Carla was just so witty and she came up with some good insults numerous times(yes I still know it was mean a large number of times,but I defintilly think she was smart and had alot of wit.She may not have been as intellectual as Lilith,Frasier and Diane,Still she was a pretty smart lady and you have to give her credit for coming up with all those smart alecy commants as well.She was also very quick and even though she was filled with alot of sarcasam she still could be very kind at times.Well atleast alittle bit.Even though still I do realize CARLA WAS SELDOM DEFINTLLY EVER NICE.She still cared about everyone I belive perhaps of course with the LARGE EXECTPTION OF NORMMY,DIANE DEFINTILLY AND CLIFF.Still we all knew that underneath her tough exterer Carla was really a fairly desecntly nice person and she does keep things going at CHEERS!I think she brings a certin energy and charmsa and much needed quality that the other characters defitnilly don,t have as much of unfortunitlly.She has the best timing,character and presence to deliver much needed and importent lines.She carrys the most fast weight and humor and jokes I belive that the other characters don,t have really I see.Carla just has a certin presence and timing that the other characters don,t really have that is vital to the show.I guess her sarcasm defintlly keeps the show running.I know she is sometimes kind of cruel.Some of what she says is very funny and thats way I like it,but some of it is downright mean.I have to agree with Dr Sternien that it really not as funny if IS YOU THAT IT IS COMING TO DEFITNLLY EVEN IF IT IS FUNNY TO THE OTHER PEOPLE,but I don,t really think Carla has really gone overboard that I can remember.It is more her quick wit and smart ass lines that I find to be humorous,but she can be very mean I agree.While still sometimes since I don,t really like Cliff it is kind of nice to here her satireirize and mock his HIGH HIGH HIGH EGO AND USELESS TRIVA,but if this were achually life that would be a differant story since people would take it more personally,but I honestlly don,t think most of her lines are that mean.She does add alot of that spirit and humor to the show and I enjoy her making fun of Diane even sometimes as long as it,s not to serious.BUT I STILL ENJOY AND LAUGH AND APREACTIE THEM BOTH.I DEFINTLLY LIKE THEM BOTH.THEY ARE BOTH GREAT CHARACTERS.CHEERS! thanks
