A Honeymooners Memorial Day:
(Ralph & Ed are pushing a barbeque grill down the street and near a bus stop.)
Ed: “Ralph, are you sure that this is a great idea?”
Ralph: “Norton, yes I do. I am not paying the subway fees when we can take the bus.”
Ed: “I am sure loyalty is another reason.”
Ralph: “Huh? Oh yeah. This will be a great Memorial Day barbeque that we are doing and it will be on the roof of the Raccoon Headquarters.”
Ed: “It will be great Ralph. I can feel it.”
(The bus arrives. Ralph & Ed get a lot of strange looks as they try to get the grill on the bus.)
Ralph (yells): “NORTON, COME ON. PEOPLE ARE WAITING.”
Man: “What is this?”
Ed: “Me and Ralph here are going to throw a barbeque. We would take the sewer but we were afraid of high tide.”
(Ralph rolls his eyes.)
Woman: “Look at those two nutcases. Look at the fat one.”
Ralph: “Boy, would I like to belt you.”
Ed: “Time to settle down Ralph.”
(With Ralph dropping his side of the grill down, he goes over to Ed. Ed accidentally drops his side on Ralph’s foot.)
Ralph (yells): “OWWWWWW! WHAT’S THE MATTER WITH YOU?”
Ed: “Sorry Ralph.”
(After causing a scene on the bus, Ralph & Ed arrive at the Raccoon Headquarters. They carry the grill up the stairs onto the roof. Alice & Trixie are there.)
Alice: “Ralph, did you and Ed take that grill on the bus?”
Ralph: “Yes, we did. I know what you are thinking. We should have taken the subway. I am not stupid enough to pay those subway tickets when I can take the grill on the bus with me.”
Alice: “Oh Ralph!”
Ralph: “Don’t ‘Oh Ralph!’ me. The nuts on that bus caused a lot of stir by yelling at me and Norton for having the grill on the bus. We still had to go through a lot of trouble pushing this thing with Norton accidentally dropping it on my foot 10 times. I thought my foot was broken.”
Ed: “Time to set up the grill Ralphie boy!”
(They do. Ralph insists on setting it up near the edge.)
Ed: “Ralph, I don’t think that that is a good idea.”
Ralph: “Oh, you think you are smarter than me huh? You think you are bigger than me?”
Ed: “Nobody is bigger than you.”
Ralph: “Just you watch it Norton.”
(Later on, Ed is talking to Freddie Muller.)
Ed: “I hope that that Ralph doesn’t eat all the food with today being Memorial Day.”
Fred: “Me too. Didn’t he buy that grill?”
Ed: “Yes he did. Oh, here he comes with the food. It doesn’t look like he can see where he is going.”
Ralph: “I can see Norton.”
(Ralph accidentally trips over Ed’s foot which causes him to push the grill off the edge down into the parking lot below. Fortunately, no one is hurt. The grill is smashed.)
Ed: “Looks like your plan on eating a lot today just got damaged.)
Ralph (yells): “PUT ‘EM UP NORTON! LET’S GO! PUT ‘EM UP NORTON!”
(Everyone tries to separate them.)
(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)
Jackie: “Thank you. Once again, the Miami Beach Memorial Days are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!”
(Crowd cheers.)
