SHIELD (http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=514379) delivered on its promise of a character death (https://www.yahoo.com/tv/agents-shield-season-finale-death-game-changing-event-183803348.html) in its season finale - actually doubly delivered, as two series regulars were taken out. Going in, my money was on May, Fitz or Lincoln and I went back and forth on which would be more impactful. May or Fitz would mean more for the audience, but on the other hand… Lincoln needed to go. The character just never popped and felt like a drag on the show. Of course, the problem was, that meant there was almost no emotional weight to him and Daisy having their big goodbye. I never bought into their love story or felt any chemistry there or cared about Lincoln, so it was hard to feel any big sadness seeing
