I'm not sure if there has been a thread on this but what do you think is the craziest acting in a UM Segment?
Me, i think its the Edward Bell one, the house he broke into. I dont think they gave their real names well the woman was pretty crazy grabbing a gun and shouting and screaming after Bell ' I'll kill you I'm GOING TO KILL YOU'

I think there's another thread devoted to this very topic.

For what it's worth, I can't hear "Jonathan! That man has Jonathan!" without laughing.

I agree and I really don't think there is a close second. Worst acted segment ever on UM.

Definitely the Larry Dickens segment. Matthew McConaughey overacted so badly in that one.

for me it's always the mortician in the Chad Maurer segment, when he tells them about the soiled clothes.

Yes i have to agree with you on the one. Did Larry Dickens really go and take his keys out of his truck?

The Larry Dickens case had some of the best acting, not worse

I think the Larry Dickens segment was the first acting role Matthew McConaughey had or one of the earliest. I definitely think he has improved alot since then. I love all his films!

Technically, this is a different thread than "Worst Acting...". I believe judyhymesisalive was going for "craziest acting", or in other words, instances where actors were playing hysterical, as evidenced by her initial post. Am I correct?

The Adam Hecht segment: "Give us a kiss," and "But I am your son.."

The actor portraying Randall Utterback complaining mid-kidnapping: " Shut up Denise! God, I hate it when you do that!" Also telling her that he loved her when he finally let her go.

The Rebecca Young segment, with the murder suspect lifting his shirt and doing some half-a** twirl after the cop pulled him over, "See man, I'm clean!"

Kimberly Pandilios segment: "What's your problem, man? What's your problem?"

Crazy. AND scary.

Yes good point by wiseguy. And I agree with the utterback actor. He was funny.

The Angeles National Forest is huge. I was there last weekend and while it was a popular trail head I visited, I imagined being in the middle of the place with just those creepy guys.

Yeah that one was really creepy with the WHATS YOUR PROBLEM MAN JUST LEAVE MAN LEAVE!
Also some other segments that arent necessarily scary but just stupidly acted would be the Dexter Stefonic one where the guy is pretending to shout at Dexter and he says 'Get out of the car get out of the car' just because he apparently didnt hear him.....

I forgot, I also love the bit when the guy playing Tony Alamo is telling the guy to give Jimmy 10 licks. In fact, the entire segment is amazing.

I always thought the re-enactment scene of Jamie Santos struggling with her attacker was wild, especially when he grabs and shoves her into a wall, knocking a picture frame off of it, and then throwing her on the floor out of camera range.

The Curt Borton one when they used the actor who played Brad Bishop. The scene in particular shows him holding a gun to a cousin but the cousin did not want his ID revealed so the actor couldn't say the name but said he knew who the guy was and to stop his investigation but then walked off.

Greg Webb saying no during interrogation

LOL that was the actor who played Brad Bishop? OMG lol, have to watch it again. The Curt Borton segment was one of my favorite segments in UM, mainly because I, as a natural skeptic, actually believe that Curt was indeed spotted by his sister on at least one of the reported sightings, and I also believe the story of him being 'renditioned', so to speak. But yes, that scene had the craziest, most unbelievable acting.

Yeah the whole segment to me is gold. Great acting. Probably the biggest a hole featured both acting and real world. I always look back to the part where he is visiting the sweat shop and he tells them to keep working. I've had a couple of bosses like that lol.

"Debbie" from Fayetteville. When I was younger I remember her running in the forest, plus the sepcial effects made it worst because it was really unnecessary lmao. But I remember his voice echoing "I'm gonna get you" or something to that effect. He was yelling it over and over He sounded scary and the entire thing Scared me.
